FaithfullyDrawn is coming back to Lyfe!

Hi guys, I have some exciting news to share - FaithfullyDrawn is coming back to Lyfe!  Artwork, by yours truly, will once again be on display at Lyfe Coffee Roasters and Public House in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho! So if you missed my debut show back in October, now is your chance to catch round two :). Beginning February 1st, a special selection of my drawings and paintings will be on exhibit to the public. This show runs for the entire month of February and features some classic works, that I have shared with you on this blog, along with some brand new pieces!

“Color” is the unifying theme for this collection and I have carefully curated a small body of work which showcases God’s amazing color palette. Jehovah is the Master Artist and He uses some pretty wild color combinations. Up until now, I have kept my new colorful creations super secret… but I just can’t contain myself any more, I have to show you guys!

Creation - L1527 IRS, 2023
Oil pastel & acrylic on paper
19” x 11”

One of my new pieces which is the total embodiment of God’s crazy color palette is the pastel painting “Creation - L1527 IRS.”  L1527 IRS is the official designation assigned to one particular celestial body - a protostar. And L1527 IRS is not just any protostar. Scientists believe that this particular baby star resides at the heart of a brand new solar system which is still in the process of being formed and, not only that, it is the youngest solar system that mankind has ever witnessed! From the moment I first saw the splendid rainbow hues bursting forth from L1527 IRS I knew I had to try and paint it and thus Creation - L1527 IRS was born.

I am super stoked to be back at Lyfe and I can’t wait to unveil Creation - L1527 IRS as well as my other pieces to the public this coming Wednesday! So if you happen to be in the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene area, come on down and check out my art in-person! This February is a great time to pop by Lyfe to enjoy a cup of coffee and take in a little star gazing ;)

(Dale says: "I can pick colors in my sleep!")

P.S. Not anywhere near Idaho? Not to worry! I will be sharing all my new works and the stories behind them in my future posts… so stay tuned :).
